Sal Anderton: NJ Aid-in-Dying for the Terminally Ill Act

Sal Anderton is an attorney and government affairs agent who has advocated in support of the New Jersey Aid-in-Dying for the Terminally Ill Act since 2014. The legislation, which is pending consideration in the New Jersey Legislature, would make the Garden State the 8th jurisdiction in the U.S. to lawfully permit Aid-in-Dying. He has practiced law and represented clients before all branches of state government for nearly twenty years. This discussion will focus on the ethical, legal and public policy implications of Aid-in-Dying and the details of the pending NJ legislation.

Susan Golden: Water and You

Susan, a former high school science and math teacher, has a degree in engineering science from Dartmouth College, and an MA in education. She was trained by Al Gore and the Climate Reality Project, and is also a volunteer with the Hackensack Riverkeeper organization. Susan is a frequent presenter on science and the environment at local non-profits, and has gotten rave reviews for her passion and depth of knowledge. Andrew Deutsch: How to Procrastinate Well

We all have a tendency to put off things, but did you ever think there is an "art of procrastination?" Friday's speaker Andrew Deutsch will look at procrastination in a new and insightful way, in his entertaining and informative talk called "How to Procrastinate Well". He will talk about how to use this "art form" to actually accomplish what is important to you, through humor and common-sense advice.
Andrew Deutsch leads workshops for businesses and organizations, and has conducted numerous workshops in New York, California, England, Israel and Australia. He also provides individual and executive coaching, as well as consulting services. He focuses on creative problem-solving, speaking and listening skills, and team-building.
