Club Meeting with Guest Speaker Philip Wilson

April 30, 2021 8:00 am - 9:00 am

Early in its history, Rotary identified the need to do fundraising and to create a foundation in order to "do good in the world". 104 years after receiving its first contribution from the RC of Kansas City, Missouri in the amount of $26.50, The Rotary Foundation granted over $360 million in fiscal year 2020 to support projects and activities which are recognized worldwide, with its proudest achievement being the near-total eradication of polio.

Our club member, Rotarian for 37 years Philip Wilson, will bring us the present status of this incredible Foundation, its mechanics and the important role it plays in the workings of our local Rotary Club of the Palisades.

Our meeting will be held via Zoom. If you would like to join us, please contact Sally Seymour at to request an invite including your contact information and how you heard about the event.
