The Stories They Never Told Us: The children of refugees from Nazi Germany return to their parents' home town.

Mike Seymour's parents were German Jewish refugees who came to the U.S. in 1940. They lost their families and all they had. Like many refugees and survivors, they did not reveal much about what they had endured, but when they passed away, Mike and Sally found a trove of photos, letters and documents, which when pieced together told their story. On a trip to Germany to donate the documents, they discovered much more about Mike's family and their neighbors, what it was like on the eve of WWII and the Holocaust.

Mike Seymour, a retired math teacher and Sally Seymour, a retired school and community nurse, have lived in Leonia for 25 years. They have two grown sons and love to travel.
