Rotary Club of The Palisades
Edgewater – Leonia – Palisades Park
Welcome to our club! Rotary is a service organization that welcomes new members who would like to be a part of the many projects in which we are involved.
Rotary Club of The Palisades, NJ meets most Friday mornings at 7:30 A.M. at the Gotham City Diner, 550 Bergen Boulevard, Ridgefield. On the first Thursday of each month an evening meeting is held at the Leonia Public Library, 227 Fort Lee Rd., Leonia. Meetings last one hour. Evening meetings are usually an hour and a half.
Our club represents the towns of Edgewater, Leonia and Palisades Park, and we have members from North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. We have a diverse and vibrant membership of individuals who enjoy working together and organizing community projects. Our signature project is the Weekend Snack Pack Program in Leonia’s Anna C. Scott and Edgewater’s George Washington Elementary Schools, which provides healthy food on the weekends for students at risk of hunger. We also subsidize hot lunches for a school in Kenya, donate water filters that supply clean drinking water to families in the Dominican Republic, and support lifesaving heart operations for children in countries where such procedures are too expensive.
