Chip Reader donated to Edgewater Police

On September 26, 2025, the Rotary Club of The Palisades presented the Borough of Edgewater with a new pet microchip reader! This device will help reunite lost pets with their families more quickly and safely—because every furry friend deserves to find their way home.

A special thank you to the Edgewater Police officers who joined us during the Oktoberfest setup, and to the Edgewater DPW for providing the mobile stage for this special event. Your support helps make our communities stronger and more connected!

And most of all, a big thank you to Stetson (Leonia Mayor Ziegler’s dog) and Zeus (Edgewater Captain Steve Tibus’ dog) for demonstrating how the chip reader works—our four-legged heroes of the day!

In recognition for their continuing support of our community and our local Rotary projects, The Rotary Club of The Palisades bestowed a Paul Harris fellowship award on Alex Ned, CEO of Kulite.

Hawaiian Luau raises $3,500 for Haiti Project

On July 4th, 2025, while celebrating America's and Cornelio Porras' Birthdays,
we passed the hat in lieu of gifts and collected $3,500 for our Haiti Hospital project.
