In partnership with Pedals For Progress, the Rotary Club of The Palisades holds bike drives to collect used, unwanted bicycles that will be shipped to low-income communities in countries where the bicycles are put to good use.

The club collects the bicycles, and donors are given a tax write off for the value of the bicycle. We ask for a $10 donation to cover shipping costs.

Once oversees, the bicycles provide transport and develop economies by promoting self-sustaining bicycle repair businesses. In addition to bicycles, we also collect sewing machines.
